METHOD FOR STRUCTURAL BIPLANAR PLASTY OF ANTERIOR ABDOMINAL WALL IN PATIENTS WITH PTOSIS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/00

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, cosmetology. Skin and subcutaneous fat are incised at distance of 7–10 cm from a commissure of labia to a depth to the level of a superficial leaf of a membranous plate. Membranous plate is dissected along the median line to the line connecting the anterosuperior spines of the iliac crest. Triangular excision of the middle part of the membranous plate is performed. Formed flaps are sutured along the median line, forming a duplication. Tissue is prepared under membranous plate in cranial direction to border of costal arches and xiphoid process. Diastasis is closed and reinforced with a formed duplex of a membranous plate. Membranous plate is fixed to tendon-aponeurotic bridges of abdominal rectus muscle.

EFFECT: method provides effective correction of ptosis and diastasis of anterior abdominal wall, reduced pain intensity after the performed operation and reduced duration of exudation, reduced rate of postoperative complications due to preservation of membranous plate.
