FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery. Cut is made to detach a adipodermal flap above the umbilicus to the xiphoid process. Location of the transposed umbilicus point and the X-shaped cut of the anterior abdominal wall skin is marked. X-shaped cut of the anterior wall skin is made and four isosceles V-shaped flaps are formed. Entire fatty tissue column is cut in the form of a cone along the cutaneous line of the opening of the future umbilicus. Umbilical cord is shortened and fixed to the aponeurosis. Two isosceles V-shaped flaps of umbilical cord skin are resected at 12 and 6 "o’clock" and the umbilicus is formed on the shortened umbilical cord in the form of a "butterfly". Free vertices of the formed isosceles V-shaped flaps of the anterior abdominal wall skin are fixed to the aponeurosis separately at the base of the umbilical cord at 12, 5, 6, 7 "o’clock", respectively. Umbilical cord is removed into the opening of the anterior abdominal wall and the edges of the wound are sewed in the form of "butterfly wings".
EFFECT: method allows forming an aesthetically correct form of the umbilicus with minimally visible scars located inside the neo-umbilicus.
