SUBSTANCE: invention is a composition of a nutrient medium for cultivating cucumber, which is a Knop solution with the addition of a suspension of Chlorella vulgaris algae with density of 1 × 106 algae cells in 1 ml in a volume ratio of 1:1 and can be used to produce strong seedlings of cucumbers for their further cultivation in a hydroponic system.
EFFECT: positive effect of the chlorella suspension on the growth of biomass of cucumber plants in hydroponic conditions is established, which enables to use the algae when growing vegetables on hydroponic systems.
