FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to an antiglaucoma implant for intrascleral cavity maintenance. Antiglaucoma implant for maintaining an intrascleral cavity is made of polymethyl methacrylate and includes a supporting part made in the form of an arc with length of 2.5–3.5 mm and width of 0.2–0.3 mm, the upper surface of which has radius of 11.7–12.7 mm, and lower – 11.5–12.5 mm. At the ends of the arc there are two support plates 0.4–0.6 mm long and 0.3–0.5 mm wide, having smoothed surfaces.
EFFECT: using the invention enables preserving the intrascleral cavity formed during the non-penetrating deep sclerectomy and minimizing the postoperative complications.
