FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. The zone of non-penetrating deep sclerectomy (NPDS) is inspected when it is blocked by the root of the iris. Under operating conditions, under a microscope, a conjunctival incision 3 mm long is made above the NPDS zone, the superficial scleral flap (SSF) formed during the previous operation is separated, the trabeculo-Descemet membrane is perforated and a basal iridectomy is performed, the anterior chamber is filled to normotone with viscoelastic through corneal paracentesis, after that, 0.2 ml of the Healaflow drainage implant is injected under the SSF and under the conjunctiva, the SSF and the conjunctiva are fixed with interrupted sutures.
EFFECT: method allows to improve visualization of the NPDS zone, prevention of scarring of the GS zone and provide a longer hypotensive effect.
