FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of crushing ore, which enables to effectively crush iron ores, which are difficult to fine crushing, and a method of producing pellets, in which iron ores are used as raw material, which are crushed by said method of ore crushing. Coarse crushing of iron ores is carried out to reduce the weight fraction of particles with a particle size greater than or equal to 1 mm, and fine crushing of coarsely crushed iron ores to increase weight fraction of particles with size less than 63 mcm. Average pore size of the iron ores before coarse crushing is less than or equal to 10 mcm. Iron ore is preferably finely crushed using a wet-type ball mill.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method of crushing ore and a method of producing pellets.
