FIELD: foundry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods of producing cast iron using a blast furnace with a tuyere. Method comprises alternating loading into a blast furnace of a first layer containing iron-ore material and a second layer containing coke, and reduction and melting of iron-ore material in loaded first layer, at the same time with blowing of auxiliary reducing agent into blast furnace with hot air injected from tuyere. Aggregate containing reduced iron in form of a pressed product obtained by pressing reduced iron is mixed with the first layer. Filler suppresses shrinkage of the layer, leading to the formation of a gap for gas flow, which provides the supply of hot air to the central part of the blast furnace. Amount of reduced iron loading in the form of a pressed product is greater than or equal to 100 kg per 1 ton of cast iron. Ratio of average grain size of reduced iron in form of pressed product to average grain size of iron-ore material is greater than or equal to 1.3. Gas permeability index of the reduced iron in the form of a pressed product after testing in the tumbling drum is less than or equal to 0.1.

EFFECT: reduced amount of used coke while maintaining stable operation of blast furnace.
