FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road trains with current collectors. Road train is made in the form of a tractor unit and an unmanned cargo vehicle. Tractor unit can be controlled in unmanned mode or with the help of driver, as well as with possibility of movement on electric energy received from own energy source or from trolley line through pantograph. Pantograph is rotatable through 360° and possibility of electric energy transfer during operation from own energy source. Tractor unit comprises a device for external piloting by an unmanned cargo vehicle, as well as a cabin rotatable through 360°. Unmanned cargo vehicle is made with possibility of movement on electric energy and contains pantograph made with possibility to receive electric power from trolley line or from tractor unit pantograph. Tractor unit and unmanned cargo vehicle comprise movement coordination device.
EFFECT: increasing the safety of work in the quarry, the manoeuvrability of the assembled and disassembled road train, reducing the rutting of roads and reducing gas pollution in the quarry when using the assembled and disassembled road train.
