FIELD: metal processing by laser radiation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for 3D printing of objects by synthesis method on substrate with improved properties due to registration and control of formed steam-gas jet and emitted powder particles. Apparatus for selective laser melting of metal powder comprises a sealed chamber with a powder supply hopper, a leveling device, a locating device for growing an article, a processing zone and an opening located above the locating device, located outside the sealed chamber above the hole, the main laser radiation source and its positioning means, optical system with rotary mirrors and lens and video camera installed on one optical axis. In the sealed chamber there are two additional holes, one of which is inlet, and the other is outlet, located in its side walls. Installation is equipped with an additional recording laser, located coaxially to the inlet additional hole, a scattering lens, located between rotary mirrors for adjustment of beam size of additional recording laser, and light flux limiter in form of thin opaque screen with thickness equal to beam diameter of additional recording laser, preventing passage of undistorted radiation of additional recording laser and located between lens and video camera with magnifying lens on their optical axis.
EFFECT: higher quality of the received products.
