FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation equipment and can be used on aircraft (AC), a group of ACs for estimating their location with guaranteed accuracy based on information received from an on-board single-position passive station for generating target information on ground-based radio sources and assessment of their location in the interest of ensuring the use of aircraft weapons. Disclosed method is aimed at determining the location of fixed radio-frequency sources with estimation of guaranteed accuracy in single-coordinate direction-finding of the radio-frequency source in the associated coordinate system of the aircraft. Method is realized in an onboard central computer. Onboard central computer includes the following units: navigation data processing unit (1); information processing unit by RFS (2); data reliability evaluation unit (3); unit for estimating the location of RFS (4); guaranteed accuracy evaluation unit (5); unit for identifying data by RFS (6); unit for generating trajectory and control commands for information manoeuvre (7); buffering and extrapolation unit (8); output data generating unit (universal interface) (9).
EFFECT: possibility of stable and fast determination of location/range to radio-frequency source from information of single-coordinate direction finder with formation of estimation of guaranteed accuracy of range determination.
