SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of controlling provision of paid services to a subscriber. Said result is achieved by steps of transmitting from a control center using a data medium to a subscriber terminal, control data for the provision of paid services; setting the volume of provided paid services and the limit of the volume of providing these services during the absence of real-time data transmission from the operator to the subscriber and transmitting said information to the subscriber terminal using the smart card; using the subscriber terminal, recording the volume of the paid service during the absence of real-time data transmission from the operator to the subscriber and transmitting said data and request for permission to continue providing paid services to the smart card control unit; processing the obtained data using a control unit and determining the volume of the provided paid services and its comparison with the established limit of the volume of providing these services during the absence of real-time data transmission; using the control unit, generating a message containing a command to continue providing paid services or blocking their provision.

EFFECT: automatic provision of the possibility of providing paid services to a subscriber in the absence of real-time data transmission from the operator to the subscriber.
