SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a packaging machine comprising roller unit (100) with a plurality of roller assemblies (1) sequentially distributed along a horizontal longitudinal axis (L) of the machine, and transmission unit (2) with engine and transmission mechanism configured to transmit engine rotation to all roller assemblies (1). One roller assembly (1) does not depend on other roller assemblies (1), is movable relative to transmission unit (2) and is configured to interact with the transmission mechanism in the working position, in which said transmission mechanism transmits rotation of the engine of transmission unit (2) to said roller assembly (1).

EFFECT: creating a more versatile and efficient packaging machine, capable, for example, of forming packages from different types of films having different properties, since it makes it possible to quickly and easily adapt the unit of rollers of the seam connection for each type of film and for each type of package, replacing one movable roller unit with another movable roller unit adapted to work with a film of said type, instead of replacing the entire unit of rollers of the seam connection or opposite rollers of roller assemblies one after another, which would additionally require more complex and labour-intensive operations.
