FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for calibrating a system for introducing an acting element into an object, and can be used in brachytherapy apparatuses. Device for calibrating a gamma-ray therapeutic contact radiation apparatus in brachytherapy comprises a body in the form of a base with a scale. In the base there are three channels, in each of which there is an guide tube made in the form of a transparent polymer tube, at one end of which there is a connector for connection to channels of gamma-ray therapeutic contact radiation apparatus, and the other end of the tube, opposite the connector, is plugged to be located in the base channel. Guide tubes are configured to adjust the position of the plugged ends relative to a millimeter scale applied along the channels. Device additionally comprises an element for fixing the position of the ampoule lines and a transparent cover for controlling the calibration by a video camera.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the clarity of the calibration process and enables to launch a test irradiation plan which covers several channels.
