SUBSTANCE: in a hose-type gamma-ray flaw detector, the channel of the storage area of a holder of a source with an emitter has an integrated bushing made of radiation-opaque material with a perforated radial opening, having a scintillator oriented relative to the active part of the emitter, the scintillator being linked by a fibre-optic light guide with a converter mounted in the housing of the radiation head, the converter serving to convert optical flux of the scintillator into an electrical signal used for subsequent display, e.g., by a multicolour LED.
EFFECT: high reliability and safety of the signalling system of the hose-type flaw detector.
