FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical modelling and specifically to a method of producing plastic cards using a flip-animation effect and/or a stereo effect. Method consists in the fact that on the surface of a plastic card having laser-sensitive layers and a layer of non-moulded plastic, by means of a laser marking system, an image is recorded to obtain flip-animation effects and/or stereo effects, then the plastic card is moved into the pressing zone, where by means of the pressing system the lenticular lens is stamped with a heated stamp under pressure with a delay in the pressing mode in the position of coincidence of the periods of the lines of the recorded image and the pressing stamp, as a result of which an image is obtained with a flip-animation effect and/or a stereo effect on the surface of the plastic card.

EFFECT: possibility of producing an image with flip animation and/or stereo effect in one process cycle, forming a lenticular lens on top of the image recorded in the laser-sensitive layer, eliminating the need for an additional operation for recording the image through the lens layer with the card tilting relative to the axis of the lens.
