FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: security device is provided comprising: an array of focusing elements, each of which is capable of focusing light in at least two orthogonal directions, the focusing elements being arranged in accordance with a regular two-dimensional grid. Device also contains an array of elongated image elements opposite the raster of the focusing elements and configured in such a way that each focusing element is able to direct to the observer, depending on the viewing angle, light from any one element of the corresponding set consisting of at least two elongated image elements. In the first region of the security device, the elongated image elements are oriented long side along the first direction, and in the second region – along the second direction, different from the first direction.
EFFECT: security device and a method for manufacturing such a device are provided.
