FIELD: foundry.
SUBSTANCE: non-stick coating for moulds and cores contains, wt. %: triorthoborate ethylenediamine of composition 3H3BO3⋅C2H8N2 – 10–14, cryptocrystalline graphite – 40.0–50.0, bentonite – 2.0–3.0, water – the rest. Introduction of triorthoborate ethylenediamine into the non-stick coating composition enables to increase its sedimentation resistance, increase abrasion resistance, reduce viscosity of coating and thereby increase thickness of penetrating layer, improving covering power and thus obtaining a coating surface without sagging, which enables to reduce surface roughness of the obtained casts.
EFFECT: higher quality of casting surface.
