FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to foundation engineering, and is intended for use in erection of pile foundations having a relatively high elevation of the upper edge of the grade beam footing and taking up significant horizontal loads. Pile foundation of buildings and structures includes a cluster of vertical piles, a high grade beam footing, a plate with holes placed on the surface of the soil, through which piles are passed and a shell attached to the plate with its upper part, wherein dimensions of holes in plate exceed dimensions of piles while gaskets of resilient material are arranged in holes of plate around piles. Shell is made of a metal cord recycled tire from a heavy-duty truck, the upper sidewall of which is located above the plate. On both sidewalls of the shell in places of piles pass there made are diagonal cuts with length equal to length of diagonals of holes in the plate. Elastic gaskets around piles are formed from bent down flanges formed by diagonal cuts on shell sidewalls. Attachment of the shell to the plate is formed by bent flanges of the upper sidewall of the shell, which are clamped between the side surfaces of the piles and the surfaces of the plate holes.
EFFECT: simplification, cheapening of manufacture, increased damping capacity of pile foundation at static and seismic loads.
