FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be used to increase bearing capacity of foundations on weak water-saturated bases. Method of increasing the bearing capacity of the foundation on weak water-saturated clay bases involves placing a round sand pile in the weak clay soil by immersing the inventory pipe by driving or vibrating, extraction from inner cavity of inventory pipe of weak water-saturated clay soil, placement in inner cavity of inventory pipe of elastic reinforcing cylindrical shell with side edges, laying into cavity of reinforcing cylindrical shell with portions of sand with compaction with gradual extraction of inventory pipe, wherein the lower edge of the reinforcing cylindrical shell is clamped in the thickness of the clay base, and the upper edge is clamped by the foundation structure. Elastic reinforcing cylindrical shell is formed in the form of a stack of the same type of toroidal metal-reinforced rubber elements without inner walls with side inner flanges, which have formed stiffening ribs of the reinforcing cylinder. Upper flange of the upper and lower flange of the lower toroidal elements are used as the folded overlapping side edges of the cylindrical shell, which are clamped in the upper and lower parts of the sand pile.
EFFECT: simplification and cheapening of the method of making a reinforced sand pile to increase the bearing capacity of the foundation on weak water-saturated clay bases.
