FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydraulic engineering and can be used in the construction and operation of alluvial waste storages and is aimed at increasing the strength during the initial erection of the alluvial structure and at reducing the cost of building dams when using the wastes stored in the storage facility. Method for erection of alluvial structure includes erection of enclosing dam 1, installation on upper slope of dam 1 of anti-filtration screen 2 with surcharge 3, installation of pulp outlets 7, supplying wastes 5 to structure, installation of spillway wells 8, formation of settling pond 4, wherein enclosing dam 1 is erected with an incomplete profile, which ensures its strength during the initial filling of the storage, and from accumulated wastes 5 with floating excavating machine 9 on the side of the upper slope, upper prism 6 is erected to the full profile of dam 1.
EFFECT: invention provides increased strength during initial erection of alluvial structure and reduced costs for construction of dams when using the wastes stored in the storage facility.
