FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixing devices, including those in heterogeneous systems for suspension and homogenisation. Body of the device is a hyperboloid of revolution with an external curvilinear surface on which working elements are made in the form of long blades. Profile of the latter increases in height from inner – smaller diameter to outer – larger diameter of hyperboloid. On the inner surface of the body there are additional blades having a shape described by a hyperboloid of rotation with a twist angle of not more than 90°. Edge of each blade of outer surface near smaller diameter ends with elongated through hole located on corresponding additional blades of inner surface between their edges.
EFFECT: invention improves quality of mixing while simplifying the design of the mixing device.
