FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for processes of mixing in heterogeneous systems: for suspending, homogenization of suspension, especially in large volumes, as well as for arrangement of intensive axial circulation in apparatus. Mixing device contains a hub installed on a rotating shaft, on which blades with a disk are installed, in which there is a central hole. Blade is installed perpendicular to axis of shaft, blades have curved shape of surface with generatrix, inclined to plane of disc, wherein angle of inclination is constant and lies in range from 10 to 75°. Width of blades monotonically decreases from external diameter of hub to outer diameter of disc, wherein in projection on plane of disc angle between tangent to surface of blade and tangent to surface of hub ranges from 10 to 90°.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption for mixing at frequency corresponding to complete suspension, as well as increased efficiency of agitator.
