FIELD: pulse equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pulse equipment, in particular to the high-current spark arrester intended mainly for electrohydraulic installations. High-current spark arrester contains a housing with side and end parts, inlet and outlet branch pipes for blowing, two electrodes installed on the branch pipes ends, at least one of which has a discharge surface of a convex annular shape and a through axial channel. First electrode is installed with a gap at the end of the inlet branch pipe, the second electrode is installed at the end of the outlet branch pipe with the possibility of connecting the housing cavity with the outlet branch pipe through the holes facing the side or the nearest end part of the housing.

EFFECT: increased frequency of discharge pulses due to improved blowing and cooling of electrodes.
