METHOD FOR INHIBITING APOPTOSIS IN MAMMALIAN CELLS AND COMPOSITION FOR IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC C07K14/00 C12N5/00

Abstract RU 2825455 C2

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, particularly to a method of inhibiting apoptosis in mammalian cells. Said method involves incubation of cell cultures for 3 hours at 37 °C and 5% of CO2 in the presence in the culture medium of at least one peptide modulator capable of binding to voltage-dependent sodium ion channels and inhibiting their action, wherein peptide modulator used is toxins-knottins from venom of arthropods, molluscs and other poisonous animals.

EFFECT: invention provides changing the concentration of sodium ions in mammalian cells and reducing mass death of cells as a result of apoptosis.
