FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a water-soluble agent based on polygalacturonate, which has selective cytotoxic activity against A549 lung carcinoma, MCF-7 breast adenocarcinoma and M-HeLa cervical carcinoma, which is potassium cobalt polygalacturonate (PCCo) or its composition with sodium-cobalt-polygalacturonate (PNaCo) in a mass ratio of 1-2:1-2, and also refers to a water-soluble polygalacturonate-based agent with selective cytotoxic activity against A549 lung carcinoma, MCF-7 breast adenocarcinoma and cervical carcinoma M-HeLa, which is a composition containing sodium-cobalt-polygalacturonate (PNaCo) in a mass ratio of 3:1 and a metal complex of pectin biopolymer sodium-metal-polygalacturonate, respectively, where the biogenic metal is zinc, manganese, chromium or magnesium (PGNaZn, PGNaMn, PGNaCr, PGNaMg).
EFFECT: obtaining antitumor agents based on macro- and microelement-containing polygalacturonates.
