SUBSTANCE: garden auger comprises a bearing pipe, on the lower part of which a double-thread auger is installed, and a rotation handle is attached to the upper end, a round-section guide rod with a lock nut and a spacer tube, fixed on front edges sections of replaceable trapezoidal blades for technical knives, casing pipe with rests for operator’s feet and nylon napkin with size 70×70 cm, to the corners of which magnets are attached. As a knife for cutting roots along the walls of the well is used replaceable 19 mm trapezoidal blade for technical knives inserted into rectangular cartridge with size 21×40 mm from sheet stainless steel with thickness of 0.2 mm. Lower part of the cartridge is removed from the line connecting the point of the middle of the cutting edge of the blade with the left lower angle of the tab closing the cartridge. Rope loops are attached to the corners of the napkin.

EFFECT: device provides protection of film coating from contamination.
