FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: drill comprises a load-carrying pipe, at the lower end of which a double-start auger is installed, and a pipe fitting in the form of a cross is attached to the upper end, to the upper branch of which an auger cleaning unit is attached. Drill rotation handle is attached to the side branches of the fitting. Drill contains a round-section guide rod with a lock nut and a spacer tube, the lower end of the rod is sharpened to a cone, sections of replaceable 19-mm trapezoidal blades for technical knives with holes are fixed on the front edges of the auger, casing with rests for the operator’s feet and a nylon cloth of size 75×75 cm, to the corners of which weighting parts are attached. As a knife for cutting roots along the walls of the well, replaceable 19-mm trapezoidal blade for technical knives is used, which is fixed on a bearing part cut from the flanges of a metal angle piece 50×10 mm. Trapezoid ABCD is cut from the wide flange of the angle piece, sides AB and CD are parallel to the axis of the drill, the side BC is parallel to the line of the angle of elevation of the outer edges of the auger spirals and coincides with the line of contact of the angle flanges and the long side of the adjacent rectangular tab BCEF, which has width of 10 mm and is located on narrow flange of angle piece. Distance between sides AB and CD is 20 mm, side AB is 32 mm, side DC=41+(20 tgα) mm, where α – angle of elevation of outer edges of auger spirals. Part of the replaceable blade not used for cutting off roots is pressed to the wide flange of the bearing part by a protective tab made of stainless steel. Tab contour coincides with trapezoid ABCD. Cutting edge of the blade is directed towards the working stroke of the auger. Lower half of the cutting edge of the blade extends beyond the trapezoid. Blade is attached to the bearing part by means of bolted joints passing through the holes in the wide flange of the bearing part and in the protective tab, which coincide with the cutouts and holes in the blade. Part narrow flange is secured by two bolts to outer edge of auger first turn from below so that knife blade open part is below auger cutting edge and blade does not extend beyond generatrix surface of auger spiral outer edges. Edges AB of wide flange of bearing part and protective tab are sharpened along profile of right triangle. Blade of the assembled knife is wrapped with a fluoroplastic tape. Set of the device includes a casing pipe, the inner diameter of which is by 2-4 mm larger than the outer diameter of the auger, and the height is equal to 1/3 of the auger height. Two supports for operator’s feet are attached to the outer surface of the casing pipe in the form of mounting angles, the lower edge of which is located 4 cm above the lower edge of the casing pipe, and a nylon cloth of size 75×75 cm, in the centre of which a hole is made, the diameter of which is less than the outer diameter of the casing pipe by 20 mm. Napkin is attached to the casing with a plastic tie so that the napkin adjoins the lower surfaces of the operator’s footrests. Weighting parts in the form of metal discs or square sections are attached to the corners of the napkin, which are necessary for fixing the position of the napkin on the film coating in windy weather. Auger cleaning unit of soil consists of a pipe fitting of the cross type, into the upper branch of which a section of an internal pipe with length of 16 cm is screwed, on which a section of an external pipe with length of 12 cm is freely fitted so that these pipes form a plain bearing. Two flat rings with a gap between them of 25-28 mm are tightly fitted on the upper end of the inner tube. Together with the inner tube, these rings form a coil, to the drum of which the beginning of the flat belt is attached, to the beginning and to the end of the last turn wound on the drum of the belt coil, two magnets are attached, and a ring is attached to the end of the belt. Auger filling control device consists of a lantern attached to the upper part of the bearing pipe and the upper surfaces of the auger spirals painted with light-reflecting paint.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the structure, creation of favourable conditions for use of the device.
