FIELD: packing and storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a container which can contain both used and unused consumer goods, in particular rod-like consumer goods. Container may contain box, cover, at least first pack and second pack of consumer goods and expandable gasket. Expandable gasket comprises at least one line of gasket weakening. At least one line of weakening of the gasket is provided on the lower wall of the gasket. Expandable gasket has initial size, which is determined by initial distance between first side wall and second side wall of expandable gasket, for placement of specified quantity of consumer goods. Gasket weakening line is made so that it breaks when between the walls of the expandable gasket more than the specified quantity of consumer goods is inserted, so that the first and the second side walls of the expandable gasket are spaced by even greater distance. Methods of using the opened container are also disclosed.
