FIELD: computer equipment for processing audio data.
SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by steps of: decoding the low-frequency component of the audio signal; creation of a set of signals of the analyzed sub-bands of the low-frequency component of the audio signal; receiving information associated with the fundamental frequency Ω of the audio signal; selecting, based on the information, the first signal of the analyzed subband and the second signal of the analyzed subband from the set of signals of the analyzed subbands; generating a synthesized subband signal from a first analyzed subband signal and a second analyzed subband signal, wherein the amplitude of the signal of the synthesized subband is based on the average value of amplitudes with gain correction of the first and second signals of the analyzed subbands, and the phase of the signal of the synthesized subband is based on the weighted sum of the phases of the first and second signals of the analyzed subbands; and generating a high-frequency component of the audio signal from the synthesized subband signal; wherein the information associated with the fundamental frequency Ω of the audio signal is obtained in the encoded bit stream.
EFFECT: avoiding generation of audible artefacts when processing audio data.
