FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for processing audio data. The effect is achieved by generating a signal of the synthesized subrange from the first signal of the analyzed subrange and the second signal of the analyzed subrange by calculating the amplitude and phase of the first signal of the analyzed subrange, calculating the amplitude and phase of the second signal of the analyzed subrange, calculating the average value of the amplitudes of the first and second signals of the analyzed subranges, modification phase of the first signal of the analyzed subband, modifying the phase of the second analysis subband signal and combining the modified phase of the first analysis subband signal and the modified phase of the second analysis subband signal; and generating a high frequency component of the audio signal from the synthesized subband signal; moreover, the information associated with the fundamental frequency Ω of the audio signal is received in the encoded bitstream.
EFFECT: eliminating audible artifacts when switching between two transposition methods that have different spectrum filling properties.
