SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for sound signal decoding. A signal of a synthesized subrange is generated from the first signal of the analyzed subrange and the second signal of the analyzed subrange by calculating an amplitude and a phase of the first signal of the analyzed subrange, calculating an amplitude and a phase of the second signal of the analyzed subrange, calculating an average value of amplitudes of the first and the second signals of analyzed subranges, modifying the phase of the first signal of the analyzed subrange, modifying the phase of the second signal of the analyzed subrange, and combining the modified phase of the first signal of the analyzed subrange and the modified phase of the second signal of the analyzed subrange; and a high-frequency component of the sound signal is generated from the signal of the synthesized subrange.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of played audio data.
