FIELD: hydrothermal treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for producing ultrafine and submicron powders of oxide metals by hydrothermal treatment. Hydrothermal treatment device comprises a continuous-action autoclave with heating elements uniformly distributed along the autoclave length, a pump for supplying a suspension with a continuous flow through the autoclave, a pressure reducing valve device installed after the autoclave, a cooling heat exchanger and a product collector. Autoclave comprises at least two coiled parallel channels of tubes enclosed in a heat-insulated casing, which are made with formation of rotary sections. Parallel tubes at inlet and outlet are connected to inlet and outlet manifolds respectively. Inlet manifold accommodates pressure transducer connected to actuated valve. Outlet of the valve means is connected to a pumped vessel for diluting the suspension with distilled water, connected to the inlet of the cooling heat exchanger, output of the latter is connected with coarse particle filter arranged ahead of product collector. Inlet manifold is connected to a source of inert medium equipped with a pump for its supply.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for hydrothermal treatment.
