FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for carrying out processes with high level of macro- and micro-mixing, such as mixing, dissolution, emulsification, extraction, fast reactions, including in multi-phase media. It can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and metallurgical technologies, including for production of nano-sized particles. In the microreactor-mixer with counter swirled flows the body is made of two coaxial twisting chambers, each of which contains a cover, a cylindrical part changing into a conical confuser with a neck in a narrow part. One of the swirling chambers is located inside the other to form an annular gap between them along the whole length. In each swirling chamber tangentially to cylindrical part of housing one or more branch pipes for supply of initial components is installed so that to provide for swirling of flows in swirling chambers in opposite direction, and in cover of inner swirling chamber there is branch pipe for additional components coaxially to housing. Twist of the outer swirling chamber is elongated to form a mixing chamber with subsequent expansion of the flow equipped with a product discharge branch pipe.

EFFECT: higher quality of mixing due to high rotational speeds and additional intensification due to back-to-back spinning, possibility of preliminary mixing of solutions of initial components and temperature equalization of solutions until mixing and reduction of heat loss to environment.
