FIELD: digital microscopy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of digital microscopy, namely, to methods for searching the smear area of a drug at high magnification for the purpose of its subsequent digitization and laboratory analysis. The technical result is achieved by the fact that at the first stage a "white" frame is formed corresponding to the parameters of the digital camera of the microscope, the initial A and final B search points are set on the slide, the camera continuously moves from point A to point B, and a position with a minimum is selected they deviate and move into it, capturing the reference frame. At the second stage, the camera is moved from point A to point B, the standard deviation of the current frame position of the relative reference frame is calculated and the position-deviation pair is stored in the computer memory if the deviation threshold value is exceeded, then the movement is carried out in the opposite direction. The discrepancy between the frame and the position of the motorized desktop is compensated by correction.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the speed of searching for the smear area of the drug on the microscope slide at high magnification and the degree of coincidence of the real smear area of the drug with the one obtained by this method by compensating for the discrepancy between the frame and the corresponding coordinate of the current position of the motorized desktop.
