FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical treatment, particularly to electrolyte-plasma treatment. When processing the surface of the workpiece with a jet of electrolyte from a nozzle connected to the negative pole of the power supply, the positive pole of which is connected to the workpiece, blank surface is shaped, at which the distance between the nozzle and the processed surface is measured by directing the laser beam from the laser distance meter coaxially with the electrolyte jet to the workpiece surface. Measurement is performed until preset distance from treated surface to nozzle is reached. After reaching the specified value of the distance, the nozzle is moved to the next section of the shaped surface of the workpiece. When bubbles appear in the electrolyte jet, preventing the passage of the laser beam from the laser distance meter and measuring the distance between the nozzle and the treated surface, the electric current is periodically switched off.
EFFECT: possibility of shaping the processed surface according to the specified processing program until the specified distance from the laser meter is achieved.
