FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: rotary electrical machine comprises a stator, a rotor and a casing which accommodates the stator and the rotor, wherein at least one of following conditions 1 and 2 is satisfied. Condition 1: thermal conductivity A of the sheet of isotropic electrical steel used for the stator core is in range from 12 to 35 W/(m⋅K), thermal conductivity B of the sheet of isotropic electrical steel used for the rotor core ranges from 10 to 33 W/(m⋅K) and A > B. Condition 2: thermal diffusivity A1 of the sheet of isotropic electrical steel used for the stator core is in range of 3.0 × 10-6 to 9.0 × 10-6 m2/s⋅W/(m⋅K), thermal diffusivity B1 of the sheet of isotropic electrical steel used for the rotor core is in range of 2.5 × 10-6 to 8.5 × 10-6 m2/s⋅W/(m⋅K) and A1 > B1.
