SUBSTANCE: obtaining intra-prediction type for current block as multiple reference line (MRL) intra-prediction, based on prediction-related information, wherein the MRL is an intra-prediction type based on an intra-prediction reference line which is not adjacent to the current block. List of potentially suitable versions of intra-prediction modes is constructed, which includes a DC-intra-prediction mode, based on intra-prediction modes of neighbouring blocks of the current block. Intra-prediction mode of the current block is obtained based on the list of potentially suitable versions of the intra-prediction modes. Discrete prediction sample of the current block is obtained based on the intra prediction mode. Based on the fact that the intra-prediction mode of the current block is obtained as a DC-intra-prediction mode, the discrete prediction sample is obtained as a DC value, wherein the DC value is obtained based on the width of the current block and the height of the current block.
