SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to a method for determining the probability of finding a blood glucose value in a patient in an unfavourable range and a system for implementing said method. At that, blood glucose measurement data are provided during point monitoring, which represent a plurality of glucose measurement values during the measurement time. Glucose measurement data include the corresponding time points at which the measurements were taken. First glucose measurement values relate to the first unfavourable range of values. Second glucose measurement values relate to the second unfavourable range of values. Second range of values differs from the first range of values. Measurement data are used to determine the probability of finding the glucose value in the first unfavourable range and the probability of finding the glucose value in the second unfavourable range. Analysis algorithm includes kernel density estimation and application of Bayes rule. In nuclear density estimation, a first pass band of the nucleus is used for all or some of the first glucose measurement values. Second pass band of the core, different from the first pass band, is used for all or some of the second glucose measurement values. Output data indicating prediction time and probability during prediction are provided.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining probability based on blood glucose measurements with point monitoring.
