FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to restorative medicine in paresis and paralysis of facial muscles. Myofunctional training of facial muscles is carried out using a portable myograph. Myograph positioning determines the location of the motor points based on the stimulation myography data. Also, during the primary superficial electromyography, the need to include the compensatory hypertrophied muscles relaxation exercises on the ipsilateral side is determined, namely platysma, procerus muscle, wing of nose and angle of mouth levator.
EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of recovery of volume of movement of facial muscles, accelerated process of patient’s rehabilitation, as well as higher controllability.
