FIELD: welding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for plasma welding and surfacing of steels and titanium alloys. A protective ceramic nozzle 3 is installed on housing 1 of the plasmatron through sealing ring 2 by means of a threaded connection. Plasma-forming nozzle 5 is fixed on bushing 4 through seals 6 and 7. Inside plasma-forming nozzle 5 there is ceramic bushing 9, electrode assembly 10 is installed in bushing 4, which is attached through insulator 11 by means of a threaded connection with nut 12. An electrode 13 is installed in electrode assembly 10, which is fixed by clamping collet 14 when attached to the threaded connection of cap 15. Housing 1 has nozzle 16 for supply of cooling liquid, electrode assembly 10 having nozzle 17 for discharge of cooling liquid. Housing 1 has union 19 and channels 20 and 21 for supply of protective gas to closed annular channel 22, whence through holes uniformly arranged along circumference, protective gas is supplied into cavity between plasma-forming nozzle 5 and protective nozzle 3. Electrode assembly 10 has nozzle 23 for supply of plasma-forming gas through slots in clamping collet 14, longitudinal grooves on outer surface of ceramic bushing 9 into zone of plasma arc formation. Cooling circuit of electrode assembly and plasma-forming nozzle is made as single, note here that said annular cooling channel 22 of plasma-forming nozzle is formed in zone of its working part.

EFFECT: increased reliability, simplified design and maintenance of plasmatron, increased efficiency of plasma-forming nozzle cooling, provision of high stability of plasma arc.
