FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma treatment of metals, namely, to plasma torch for facing, welding, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Housing consists of two parts connected by means of screws. One of the parts is made of insulating material, and the other one is made of current-conducting material. Housing part from insulating material is equipped with ring from heat-conducting material and is connected to it by threaded connection, and between them by means of seals a cavity is formed, which is connected by means of holes made in part of housing from insulating material, and fittings with source of cooling liquid. Anode is made in the form of copper bushing and is connected by threaded connection with part of housing from current-conducting material. Between the housing and the nozzle there is an annular channel connected by means of a hole in the housing from insulating material and fitting with source of shielding gas. Electrode assembly consists of rod with hole made along axis, and connected to part of housing made of insulating material, by means of threaded connection and tip made in form of copper tube. Rod and tip are connected by means of threaded connection, and between tip and anode in form of sleeve there is an annular channel connected to axial hole of rod by means of radial holes made in rod. Between the rod and part of the housing made of insulating material, by means of seals there is a cavity connected by holes made in the same part of the housing to a source of cooling liquid.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of cooling efficiency of plasmatron heat-loaded parts, simplification of design, reduction of overall dimensions, reduction of labor intensity during maintenance and repair, improvement of reliability and expansion of possibility to adjust parameters of plasma arc.
