FIELD: hand-held cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blade sharpening devices. Sharpening case designed to receive a knife to be sharpened or stored has a cavity for receiving a blade and an access hole at one end of the cavity. Case comprises an upper part with a guide device and a lower part with a grinding device. Grinding device is supported by an arm having a first longitudinal end installed with possibility of rotation on a support around the first axis. Arm is made with possibility of return by means of reverse stroke in direction of guide device. Sharpening device is installed with possibility of rotation on the second longitudinal end of the arm and is suspended on the specified second longitudinal end of the arm. Grinding device is mounted on the arm with possibility of rotation around the second axis. Grinding device centre of gravity is located under the second axis of the arm and under the second longitudinal end of the arm. Second axis is located in the upper part of the grinding device.
EFFECT: improved quality of knife sharpening in a sharpening case.
