FIELD: sharpening cutting edges; hand cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blade sharpening devices. Case for storing a knife, having a blade made with a protective element on the blade back, and to be stored in the case, has a cavity configured to receive the blade, and an access hole at one end of the cavity. Cover has in its lower part a receiving device for the cutting edge of the blade. Cover has in its upper part a fixing element interacting with the protective element. Receiving device for the cutting edge of the blade rests on an arm which is installed with possibility of being turned in the case. Case comprises return means acting on the arm to bring the receiving device of the cutting edge to the fixing element so that the fixing element can interact with the protective element.
EFFECT: providing the knife immobility in the storage position, in which the blade is completely inserted into the cover, to prevent its accidental falling.
