FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Transition section comprises front beam, rotor lead-in part hinged to front beam and made in the form of cylinder, on the surface of which there are coils. Axis of rotation of the rotor is perpendicular to the front beam. Transition section additionally contains a casing installed in the central part of the transition section and rigidly welded with elements forming the transition section. Casing is made symmetrical relative to the central part of the transition section. Upper lead-in part of the rotor is located directly under the lower surface of the feeding beater, i.e. in zone of output of process mass from feeding beater. Process mass is fed from the feeding beater into the rotor lead-in part from above.
EFFECT: increasing the productivity and service life of the combine harvester.
