FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a modifying agent and a modified conjugated diene polymer obtained using said modifying agent. Modifying agent contains a compound of formula 1:

where in formula 1: R1-R8, each independently represent an alkyl group with 1–20 carbon atoms, L1 and L2, independently of each other, represent an alkylene group with 1–20 carbon atoms, and n is integer from 2 to 4. Described also is a modified conjugated diene polymer containing a functional group obtained from a compound of formula 1, and a method of producing a modified conjugated diene polymer by reacting an active polymer with a modifying agent.
EFFECT: providing a modifying agent containing oligosiloxane and a tertiary amine group, used to modify a conjugated diene polymer used in a rubber composition for balanced improvement of fuel consumption characteristics and processability.
