SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a group of inventions: a modified polymer based on conjugated diene and a rubber composition for the manufacture of tires. This modified polymer has a molecular mass distribution curve with a unimodal profile and a molecular mass distribution (CP; MMD) in the range of 1.0-1.7. The modified polymer contains a functional group derived from the initiator of modification in one end position and a functional group derived from the modifier in the other end position. The modification initiator is a reaction product between a compound

and an organometallic compound. The rubber composition contains a modified polymer based on conjugated diene and a filler.

EFFECT: creation of a modified polymer based on conjugated diene obtained as a result of continuous polymerization and characterized by remarkable recyclability and excellent physical properties, such as mechanical properties under tension, and viscoelasticity characteristics.
