FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: incubator for newborns with variable transparency of working chamber walls includes a transparent substrate, a film, a central processor, an electric current source, physiological and external sensors, circuit for controlling the supply of electric current to the film and an alarm module. Physiological sensors are selected from a heart rate monitor, a blood flow sensor, a sweat sensor, a respiratory rate sensor, a blood pressure sensor, a blood glucose sensor, an electrocardiosignal sensor, a skin conductivity sensor, a galvanic skin response sensor. External sensors are selected from photo camera, video camera, moisture sensor, combined module for photo and video filming. Film is glued to the substrate and is opaque for light transmission in the first configuration and transparent for light transmission in the second configuration. Film has an additional configuration which has intermediate opacity and is capable of switching between configurations by applying an electric current. Film is capable of alternately switching between configurations based on data from physiological sensors. Incubator also contains external and internal optical sensors of fine particles, waterproof fans, pulse sprinkler, water pump and two flexible tubes, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, external and internal spectral sensors. Central processor and multichannel dimmer are configured to simulate dawn and dusk using a sequence of smoothly alternating intermediate configurations of all sections of the film.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of maintaining environment conditions suitable for newborns inside the working chamber of the incubator.
