FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used to measure water flow in heat supply systems, process plants of chemical industry, flow rate of oil wells, in systems for metering drilling fluids and effluents, as well as for measuring flow rate of any other liquids with gaseous inclusions in the form of bubbles or shells or without inclusions having a non-uniform structure. Device comprises a measuring probe consisting of a tubular sealed rod element with a piezoelectric transducer installed in it, fixed on a suspension and placed inside a pipeline streamlined with a liquid flow. Transducer is connected to a unit for measuring and calculating physical parameters. Waveguide element in the form of a prism with an inclined surface, which forms a streamlined configuration, is attached to the outer surface of the piezoelectric transducer, which is oriented towards the flow. Processing unit comprises a constant frequency signal generator connected through a resistor to an ultrasound converter and to a first input of a phase signal mixer, second input of phase signal mixer is connected to ultrasound converter, mixer output is connected via filter and low-frequency amplifier with analogue-to-digital converter connected to unit for calculating Doppler frequency shift, for example, based on microprocessor.
EFFECT: enabling more efficient determination of flow rate of a two-phase gas-liquid medium with less errors.
