FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to electrical engineering, in particular to electric power systems. Method for unloading electrical networks from reactive power and maintaining the voltage level at consumers at a rated value at increased, rated and reduced voltage of the supply network, provides higher quality of manufactured products and improved technical and economic indicators of power supply systems. Field of application of proposed method for indirect compensation of reactive power with simultaneous voltage stabilization are power supply systems with extended power transmission lines, which due to new properties of the method will be improved external, control and energy characteristics. Most expedient field of application is objects of power supply systems, where it is required to provide multistage control of reactive power with simultaneous voltage stabilization, in combination with which the proposed method will perform control at each stage with fixed capacities of capacitors.
EFFECT: technical solution can be used for indirect compensation of reactive power with simultaneous voltage stabilization without deterioration of sinusoidal shape of currents and voltages of the supply network and load while maintaining the rated voltage level at consumers at increased, rated and reduced voltage of the supply network.
