FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of welding, namely to hybrid laser-arc welding of T-joints of parts for shipbuilding, machine building and other industries. A wall is installed on the flange of the T-piece, and seams of the T-joint are welded by moving the working tools installed on each side of the joint of the parts being welded. Working tools are arranged on carriages installed on the beam coaxially with the butt of the parts being welded. Each working tool comprises a laser-arc welding head and an arc torch installed in front of it. In the process of welding the working tools are moved coaxially with the butt of the parts being welded; at that, before the laser-arc welding heads make welding seams on each side of the butt of the parts being welded with arc torches, continuous tacks are made along the butt with the width of up to 3 mm.
EFFECT: high-quality weld with complete penetration due to elimination of abrupt change of parameters of heat sources in welding zone.
